The end of the road to publication is now in sight. My editor, Martha, has declared my novel ready for the reading public and returned it to Hydra Publications. The next step is the design of the cover, which should take a few weeks and then the book will likely be released in February, if not before. I want to thank my friends and family for their support and for putting up with me while I finished my book.
I want to thank Frank Hall and Hydra Publications for taking a chance on The Hand of God. Hydra and the family of authors found there, are the best group a writer could ask for.
I would also like to thank Martha Swanson, my editor, for her wonderful suggestions, keen insight and getting all the subtle pop references. She’s the one you want going to war with you on your book.
And thank you, dear reader, for stopping by and keeping up to date with progress on the book, as well as all the other ramblings you find here. In less than two months, we can actually start discussing the novel. Typing that is SO much fun.
Congratulations! I just started that path on this holy pilgrimage, so rock on. How long did it take you from start to finish? or rather, to this point? Go Hydra!!!
Michael, It took about a 11 months from starting to write the book, until the final edit. All that is left is to design the cover and my book can be released into the wild. Thanks for stopping by. Don’t be a stranger!
